Jean-Frédéric Hugel was born in 1989. With Marc-André Hugel, they represent the 13th generation at Famille Hugel.

He studied marketing and business in Strasbourg at L’ISEG business school before joining the family estate on a full time basis in 2010. Today, he spends half of his time in France and the other half traveling around the world as an Ambassador for Famille Hugel, visiting export markets such as England and, of course, the United States of America.

While in France, he takes part in the everyday business—conducting tastings at the winery throughout the year and participating in the harvest in September. Jean Frederic Hugel is young but speaks of wine with knowledge and fervor, as if 370 years of winemaking were cellared in his brain!
